To me, Freedom is often closely linked with the concepts of justice and equality. This country defines who is not a slave, or a subject, or prevented the desires of others in a coercive manner. In other words, allowing a man to decide if he wants to do something or not, makes him free, but also accountable for his actions. To have a free expression and not rely on others. However doing what you want to do, in a rebellious way,is not my concept of freedom. I do not agree with that, because some people are anarchists and i believe this world needs a better organization to control justice.
My feelings towards complete government control are mixed. I agree that we need some kind of government control, but don't think the government should take full control. We need rules and control, otherwise we would live in a world of disaster. At the end of the day I think it comes down between safety and freedom. The more safety we want from our government, the more freedom will be taken away from us. There are laws now regulating everything, from being forced to wear our seatbelts to what our kids are being permited to wear in schools.
